Who we are
Learnlife Foundation is in the process of constitution. The purpose of the Learnlife Foundation will be to:
research and promote the future of learning
support (e.g. through funding, grants) the launch, and operations of learning hubs in less developed countries
support (e.g. via research, development and operations) a decentralised data platform for learning
support learners, learning projects or other learning related activities (e.g. through grants, scholarships)
own shares in learning organisations
The founders believe that all contributions which make a positive impact on the future of learning are vital for the future of humanity.

Financial Status
Learnlife Foundation intends to be a non-profit entity dedicated to the public benefit. It is in the application process to be recognised with the ANBI (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling) status by the Dutch tax authorities.
It will pursue its purpose by raising funds, managing the available capital, and cooperating with organisations whose activities are related to its purpose.

Learnlife Foundation Policies
Learnlife Foundation does not intend to make profits. Learnlife Foundation shall fulfil the ANBI requirements which are determined by the Dutch tax authorities in order to keep its qualification as an entity for the public benefit (algemeen nut beogende instelling) as referred in article 5b General Law on State Taxes (Algemene wet inzake rijksbelastingen).
Learnlife Foundation is a religion and politics agnostic organisation with no political or religious affiliations or ties. The opinions of Learnlife Foundation shall be expressed mainly through activities and projects that contribute to the future of learning.
Learnlife Foundation will focus on its planned activities in line with its purpose. It may provide remunerated services to third parties, provided that the remuneration is applied to activities which are aligned with the purpose of the Learnlife foundation and meet the ANBI requirements.
Managing directors may receive remuneration for their work with due observance of the ANBI requirements. They are entitled to reimbursement of expenses incurred by them while carrying out their duties and responsibilities on behalf of the Foundation, observing at all times the ANBI requirements.
The management board shall keep account of the financial position of Learnlife Foundation and shall prepare and submit its annual reports within six months after the end of the financial year. The annual reports shall include a balance sheet, a statement of funding and expenses and relevant notes.
In the unlikely event of the liquidation of Learnlife Foundation, the assets available at the time of liquidation will be transferred to one or more ANBl entities with a similar objective, or one or more foreign public service organisations with identical scope. Such transfer will always respect the ANBI requirements in force.
